I was lucky enough to go down to Selfridges as part of The Beauty Project and spend the evening with Leslie Blodgett (Creator of Bareminerals) and Nadnie Baggott (HELLO! Health and Beauty journalist). We were greeted at The Corner Bar with a glass of Champagne and canapes. It was a small gathering of ladies that love the cosmetics and beauty industry.
We took our seats (front row!!) and waited for Leslie and Nadine to make their entrances. The talk was all about how Leslie built her business and her personal experiences along the way. She gave some amazing advice and spent a lot of time answering everyone questions. After the talk we all had time to mingle and try the latest products. It was a truly inspiring evening and Nadine and Leslie had all the time in the world of everyone there.
One of the pieces of advice Leslie gave me was to not be scared. When owning your own business you have to believe in what you are and really go after your dreams.
It was such a fantastic evening with amazing people!!
